San José Is Not For Sale: A Community Project is a documentary that will display a combination of storytelling, cinematography, inspiration, and the talents cultivated in the city. SJNFS will share the stories of San José BIPOC entrepreneurs and artists, as well as, the community and culture that is not typically represented in mainstream media. This documentary will be 100% curated by San José creatives.

Entrepreneurship, art and community is the soul of San José and that can’t be bought. This community project will embody resilience, culture, and passion for a city that is rapidly changing. We would like to shed light on these members, as well as uplift our communities to advance San José’s rich, cultural history. We aim to visually archive and preserve people, places and spaces. Ultimately, our goal is to inspire young filmmakers, entrepreneurs and creatives of color to continue to use their passions to create meaningful content.
